DIY Lure Knocker

Idea for a makeshift lure knocker to dislodge hung lures.

From pig_n_jig from bassfishin.com forums

You can make you own plug knocker , by using a bass sinker and a screw in eyelet. Here are a couple I made. the screw in eyelet is opened up to slide you line in and another line is tied to the swivel eye of the sinker to knock the plug free and retreive the knocker back with. P N J
I alternated the 2 different weight sizes in the pictures, you can determine what weight is best for you.The bigger weight I showed is like a 2 oz. sinker, that is a bit overkill, but it works easier with trebles hung up on trees and stuff like that. P N J

The lure George W. Perry used to haul in his world record largemouth. Well, not the exact lure.
